POLICE are warning Facebook users to think before they post holiday updates on the social media site, as it can make them vulnerable to burglars.
It follows a spate of break-ins across the country, where burglars have trawled the popular social media site looking for empty properties to target.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "If you advertise the fact that you are on holiday it increases the temptation for burglars to target your property."
